Married from a select combination of Kentucky Bourbon, Spanish Oloroso, Virgin American Oak, and Spanish Pedro Ximénez casks.

The result is a full bodied, triple distilled single potstill whisky with pronounced notes including dried fruit cake, vanilla crème laced with cinnamon, demerara sugar, and old seasoned leather notes.

Abundant tropical fruits include candied orange, dried apricot, figs, ripe blackberries, blackcurrant jam, dried raisins and roasted nuts. The complexity continues with barley, malt and dried hay, butterscotch, milk chocolate, light tobacco and ocean breeze.

The palate is velvety-soft, resplendent with full bodied Sherry and tropical fruit. Oatmeal develops to oak spices, coffee, dark chocolate orange, nectarines, stewed plums, blackcurrant, red currant and sultanas, coming together as sweet dark fruitcake and honey. The finish presents dried fruit with a hint of salt and dulse, lingering oak and more Sherry, ending with hazelnut and almond raspberry pie with a drizzle of dark chocolate.

Kildara won ‘World’s Best Pot Still Whisky’ at the prestigious 2023 World Whiskies Awards.

One of the best Canadian whiskey’s I have had. I really enjoy my scotch but I prefer this to most of them. A very smooth, full of flavor drink with just the right hint of sweetness.

I've been enjoying the Peated Kildara whiskey and will purchase it again. I was a drinker of Rye whiskey many years ago; then I spent a number of years in the Southern US and acquired a taste for Bourbon. Aging Kildara in Bourbon barrels infuses the whiskey with enough Bourbon to make it the best whiskey I have ever had.

Pretty simple, you will not be disappointed in Kildara. I could go on and on technically about tasting notes. Food for snobs, I will not play in their sand box. Kildara is satisfying and polished and that is what it is all about, a wonderful libation that you will say - "Yes, I will have another and another"

Your Kildara is smooth and and wonderful tasting scotch. After doing a tasting at your distillery while visiting this summer, I ordered four bottles from you, Kirkanriola, Cath Na Aven, Kildara and St Mallie. I have had a number of friends and family members over to taste them. Some have preferred Kildara for its smooth flavour, some have preferred the Kirkanriola for its straight up smooth single malt flavour, while myself and a couple others prefer the St Mallie for its unique flavour as one cand rep the nice wine aftertaste of this fine whiskey. All are great and I am sure some of my friends and family will be ordering some from you. Thank you for making such excellent whiskeys here in our wonderful country!
