A local beekeeper showed up one afternoon with a jar of honey and no appointment. His bees had spent the season wandering Vancouver Island - clover fields, ocean blossoms, old-growth edges - and honestly, the honey was showing off. We had a whisky bottle open anyway. One thing led to another, and now here we are. The bees did most of the work. We just made the introduction. Expect a bright bouquet of honeysuckle and lemon zest that melts right into sweet wildflower honey, banoffee pie, and warm vanilla.
Sweet and lush with a bright bouquet of honeysuckle and lemon zest that opens into wildflower honey, ripe honeydew melon, and banoffee pie. The creamy palate develops into warm vanilla, honeycomb, and soft orchard fruit, with a gentle bourbon warmth carried through from the cask. The finish is long and floral, lingering with clover honey and a whisper of toasted vanilla.
No colour added. Non-chill filtered.
Distilled, matured and bottled in Victoria, British Columbia.

The aroma: floral and light with the sugary warmth of honey and vanilla followed by a touch of ripe pear.
Taste: A sweet harmony of rich vanilla and floral honey, perfectly balanced by the bright, crisp notes of fresh orchard fruit with a hint of oak. Very good, however it is spirit forward an ice cube does tye trick.

A great change up from the usual.
Rather than tasting"like honey", it actually has the real flavour.
But most importantly, it's is not sugary or syrupy, it is just a nice smooth dram with a great flavour.

Visited the distillery this summer and tried many of their products. This one was a favourite of everyone in the group. Pleasant with a “kick in the mouth”.
It was smooth
It's quite different from other honey infused whiskies, as it is still 40+% abv I get all the flavors including the flavor of the alcohol, ir is a little sweet for me but it does pair well with ice on a warm day.
It's very smooth and I love its smell.

Smooth. Rich. Good depth. Fantastix colour. Delicious..... I was hesitant to try a honey flavoured/Infused whisky, but it's such a treat, even on a hot summer day. It is on point and you should try a bottle. Or 3.
Dangerously good! Hard to put the bottle away. Too easy to go for more.
Deeeelicious! We were looking for something to replace the bourbon we cannot (and won't) buy any longer and this fit the bill. It works in our cocktails and is also tasty just to sip on. We bought a bottle for us and one for a friend . . . think I will head over and grab a couple more.
Surprisingly flavorful for a young whisky, given woodiness present from the bourbon cask. But the added honey pairs well. Only a hint of sweetness on the nose. But the honey is evident from the first sip and marries well with the sweetness and caramel flavors from the bourbon cask.
My wife surprised me with a bottle of Buzz Cut for Father's Day, and that makes me happy every time I drink it. It's got the sweetness of honey, toffee, and powdered sugar on top of oaky floral notes. If you like to have a sweet option on your shelf, this is a lovely one.
