The Peat Project Single Cask Series won the 2026 Canadian Whisky Award of Excellence in Product Innovation.

Distilled using local British Columbia barley, peat-smoked at our distillery to 54 ppm with local peat from the Olympic Peninsula, it was then fully matured in a carefully selected Spanish Oloroso cask, blanketed with fresh maritime island air.

The nose has an abundance of tropical fruit, Sherry, and floral notes with light peat and seaside breeze, including dried apricot, potpourri, rose petals, fruitcake, vanilla, treacle, red liquorice, burnt heather, and cellared oak.

This leads to maritime notes reminiscent of the beach at low tide.

The palate is creamy with medium peat smoke, bonfire, sweet Sherry, candied orange, dried figs, fennel, perfume, sweet pea and rose water, developing to dark chocolate, oak spices, coffee, and dulse.

The finish is dry with lingering peat smoke and a hint of salt befitting our island location.

No colour added. Non-chill filtered.

Distilled, matured and bottled in Victoria, British Columbia.

The flavors of this whiskey are amazing. It is so smooth considering the peat and alcohol content. It is not "hot" like some of the other highly peated whiskies out there
