Previously been awarded a stunning 93/100 by Whisky Advocate & 8.3/10 by Whisky Magazine.

Fully matured in a single virgin American oak cask, and triple distilled using only the best local unmalted and malted barley from British Columbia.

The nose has a symphony of treacle, dried fruit, heather, perfume, lemon & lime, kiwi, pineapple, bananas, geranium, bramble jam, red currant, candied orange, acacia honey, figs, vanilla bean, and cream soda. There’s also white chocolate, barley water, wholemeal biscuit, pecan, roasted almonds, pipe tobacco, sandalwood, cinnamon, pine resin, furniture polish, and coastal gorse.

The palate has an impressive body and mouthfeel with heather honey, sticky toffee pudding, rum, dried apricot & figs, cherries, sultanas, raspberry jam, and fruit cake. Rich tannins are accompanied by ginger, nutmeg, aniseed, digestive biscuit, malted milk, and Brazil nut. The oak finish is long and dry with juniper, cocoa and salted dark chocolate.

What a truely wonderful whiskey in the Irish style with A TASTE OF OAK.

I like trying new labels to me. This one, I found to be very much like a highland scotch. I ordered this online, and the transaction was flawless. I've since gone back and ordered two more bottles although of another variety.

I always enjoy a variety of good spirits but this one is (as we often use the phrase), very approachable.
It is the kind of whiskey I could nurse a dram in a nice glass for an hour

I did enjoy it, the balance with the fruit and the intonation of the wood was a lovely marriage.

Loved it

A great, straight up, very smooth single malt with a true flavour. A number of my single malt appreciating friends had the same opinion.
